Dr. Roxana De Las Salas
The pediatric nurse and researcher behind every age-norm note, knowledge-base article, and clinical guardrail in Morfeo.
She studied Nursing at Universidad del Norte and is also a US registered nurse. She earned a Master's in Pharmacological Sciences and a Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. She is a Senior Researcher with Colombia's Ministry of Science and Technology.
Today she focuses on research and on training health professionals. Her research spans neonatal and pediatric studies on the safe use of medications. She has also devoted effort to educating parents on the care of children across the stages of the life cycle.
She is also the mother of a daughter who is currently two years old. So everything she brings to this app — not only her training and rigor as a nurse and as a researcher, but also the experience she has accumulated as a mother — is reflected here.
