Morfeo is a baby sleep and feeding tracker for iPhone and Apple Watch. These Terms cover what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. The short version:
- Morfeo is a tool for parents and caregivers, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace your pediatrician.
- The free tier is yours to use. Morfeo Plus is a paid subscription billed by Apple.
- Your data lives in your iCloud account — not on our servers. The way to delete it is to delete the app or your data from within the app.
- If something is wrong with the app, please write to us at hello@getmorfeo.com before assuming the worst.

1. About these Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and RJL IT Consulting ("Morfeo," "we," "us," or "our"), the operator of the Morfeo iOS application and the website at getmorfeo.com (together, the "Service").
By downloading, installing, or using Morfeo, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Medical Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your country if higher, to enter into these Terms. Morfeo is intended for parents, guardians, and caregivers tracking the well-being of an infant in their care.
Morfeo is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where that is the relevant threshold). The data entered into Morfeo is data about a baby, but the user of the app is always an adult acting in a parental or caregiving role.
3. The Service
Morfeo helps you log your baby's sleep, feedings, diapers, and notes; visualize trends; read curated content authored with Dr. Roxana De Las Salas, PhD, MSc, RN, BSN; and (for Plus subscribers) receive a weekly AI-generated summary of patterns in your data.
We may add, remove, or modify features over time. Where a change materially reduces functionality you have already paid for, we will let you know and, where required by law or App Store policy, give you a way to cancel and obtain a refund through Apple.
4. Your Apple Account and your data
Morfeo uses Apple's CloudKit to sync your data privately to your own iCloud account. You need an Apple Account in good standing to use the syncing features, and Apple's terms govern that account.
Your logged data is stored in your iCloud private database. We do not have access to it. If you lose access to your Apple Account, we cannot recover your Morfeo data — only Apple can.
5. Morfeo Plus subscription
5.1 What you get
Morfeo Plus unlocks the features described on getmorfeo.com and inside the app — including unlimited history, extended Trends ranges, Pediatrician PDF export, AI weekly insights, and (when available) multi-baby support.
5.2 Pricing and billing
Morfeo Plus is offered at the prices displayed in the App Store at the time of purchase. As of the effective date above, the published prices are:
- Monthly: USD 5.99 / month
- Yearly: USD 39.99 / year, with a 14-day free trial for first-time subscribers
Local prices, taxes, and currency are determined by Apple based on your App Store region.
5.3 Auto-renewal disclosure (Apple subscription terms)
By starting a Morfeo Plus subscription, you agree to the following, as required by Apple:
- Payment will be charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Your subscription automatically renews for the same period (monthly or yearly) at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time by going to your Apple Account settings on your device after purchase.
- If you cancel during a free trial, you may lose access to the trial immediately. If you cancel during a paid period, you keep access until the end of that period.
5.4 Refunds
All Morfeo Plus purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are governed by Apple's policies and must be submitted to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We are not able to issue refunds directly.
5.5 Family Sharing
Morfeo Plus is eligible for Apple Family Sharing where Apple supports it for the relevant subscription. Sharing is managed through your Apple Account.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use Morfeo only for its intended purpose and to not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
- Use the Service in a way that interferes with other users' use, or that places undue load on our infrastructure (including the AI insight proxy).
- Submit content through the Service that violates the rights of others or applicable law.
- Use the Service to provide medical advice to others as if it came from a qualified professional.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if these Terms are materially breached.
7. Your content and your rights
The data you enter — sleep sessions, feedings, notes, your baby's name and birth date, and so on — is your data. You retain all rights in it. We do not claim ownership.
Because that data lives in your iCloud, you can delete it at any time by:
- Using Delete all data in the app's More tab, or
- Removing the Morfeo container from iCloud in your device's iCloud settings, or
- Uninstalling the app and clearing its data.
8. Our content
The Morfeo name, the wordmark, the app icon, the curated knowledge-base articles authored with Dr. Roxana De Las Salas, the AI-generated insights, the website design, and all related materials (the "Morfeo Content") are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Morfeo Content as part of your normal use of the Service. You may not redistribute, republish, or build derivative works from the Morfeo Content without our written permission.
9. Medical disclaimer (summary)
Morfeo is not a medical device, not a substitute for professional pediatric care, and not capable of diagnosing or treating any condition. The educational content in the app and the AI-generated weekly insights are for general informational purposes only.
If your baby is showing signs of a medical emergency, contact emergency services or your pediatrician immediately. Do not rely on Morfeo for urgent decisions.

10. AI-generated content
For Plus subscribers, Morfeo generates a weekly insight using a large language model (currently Claude Haiku, provided by Anthropic) via a proxy that we operate. AI output can be incomplete, imprecise, or wrong. We instruct the model to avoid medical recommendations and to defer to your pediatrician for anything ambiguous, but you remain responsible for any decisions you make.
What is sent to the AI is described in our Privacy Policy — in short, it is an anonymized summary of your data, never names or identifiers.
11. Apple as a third-party beneficiary
You and Morfeo acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Morfeo, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content. To the extent these Terms govern your use of the iOS app, Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and has the right to enforce them against you.
In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's standard licensed application end-user license agreement, the terms more protective of the end user prevail. 12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
- We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.
- Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us for Morfeo Plus in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence — including, where applicable, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and state consumer protection statutes in the United States, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in the United Kingdom, the EU Consumer Rights Directive and national implementations in the European Union, Ley 1480 de 2011 (Estatuto del Consumidor) in Colombia, and equivalent laws elsewhere.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app and, if you have a subscription, canceling it through your Apple Account settings.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. Upon termination, sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will continue to apply.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated version at getmorfeo.com/terms and update the "Last updated" date above. If the change is significant, we will give reasonable notice through the app or by email where we have one. Your continued use of the Service after the change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing law and disputes
Morfeo is offered worldwide, and the Service is delivered through the App Store wherever Apple makes Morfeo available. The choice of law below governs the contract between you and Morfeo; it does not, and cannot, take away rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, where Morfeo's operator is registered, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes that are not resolved informally will be submitted to the state and federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, except:
- If you are a consumer in the United States, you keep the protections of US federal and state consumer protection law (including those of your home state) and may bring low-value disputes in your local small-claims court.
- If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you keep the protections of EU/UK consumer law and the right to bring claims in the courts of your country of residence under the Brussels I Regulation (recast) and equivalent rules.
- If you are a consumer in Colombia, another Latin American country, or anywhere else with mandatory consumer protections, those protections continue to apply, and you may bring claims in your local courts where local law so provides.
Nothing in this section creates a forum-selection clause that overrides any mandatory rule of your home country's law.
